DMCA Policy

Effective 2026-04-20

Takedown process

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe material on the Service infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a notice that complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to admin@insightsbyomkar.com with subject line DMCA Notice.

What your DMCA notice must include

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., title, registration number if any, publication details).
  3. Identification of the material on the Service claimed to be infringing — a URL is best, plus enough description for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information: full name, address, telephone, email.
  5. A statement, in good faith, that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for one.

What we do on receipt

We review the notice. If it’s complete and the claim is plausible, we remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the user who posted it (if any). We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Bad-faith or materially-false notices may expose the sender to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:
  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone, and a consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where you reside (or, if outside the U.S., the Southern District of New York), and acceptance of service of process from the original notifier.
Send to admin@insightsbyomkar.com with subject line DMCA Counter-Notice. We may restore the material 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the original notifier files a court action.

Designated agent

Our designated DMCA agent is reachable at admin@insightsbyomkar.com. Formal designation with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress; until then we accept and process notices at the email above.

Source policy

For the avoidance of doubt: the Service’s interpretive rubrics are restricted to public-domain sources by policy. See /sources for the list. If you believe a rubric reproduces in-copyright material, a DMCA notice is the right channel — or, for non-formal review, email admin@insightsbyomkar.com with subject “Source policy.”
