Features.

Everything Netra v2 ships today, grouped by the workflow it solves.

Chart views

Twelve tabs per chart, not one wheel.

Natal

Tropical or sidereal with per-user default house system. Wheel + bodies + aspects + house cusps all visible at once.

Transits

±180-day scrubber. Compare any moment against the natal in a synced BiWheel view.

Progressions

Secondary, solar-arc, minor, converse. All four in one tab, not four features.

Returns

Solar + lunar returns. Pick any year, any residence — recomputes instantly.

Composite

Midpoint + Davison composite. BiWheel overlay with the two natal charts.

Synastry

Two-chart aspect grid with orbs you control. Inner-wheel / outer-wheel pinning.

Dignities

Essential dignities table — Ptolemaic + triplicity. Scores per planet per tradition.

Midpoints

Ebertin midpoint tree. Mouse over a planet, see everything within 1° orb.

Declinations

Parallel / contra-parallel by declination, not longitude. Often missed by tools that only do longitudinal aspects.

Harmonics

Addey harmonic charts — H2, H3, H4, H5, H7, H9, H12, H16, or custom. Overlaid on natal.

Time-lords

Annual profections + monthly profections. Zodiacal Releasing on Spirit and Fortune, L1 and L2, with active-trail highlighting.

Stars · Asteroids · Sky

~158 fixed-star conjunctions with magnitude badging. Ceres/Pallas/Juno/Vesta with house placement. Current Moon phase + void-of-course state, no location required.

Workflow

The library is a queryable corpus, not a flat list.

Research mode

Composable filters on sign, house, retrograde, aspect-with-orb-tolerance. Snapshot-cached for sub-second recall across the whole library.

Client folders

Named buckets for every chart of one client — natal, partner, composite, returns, progressions. Unfiling a folder doesn't delete its charts.

Workspaces

Multi-panel resizable canvas with synced date scrubbing. Pin any chart-type to any panel. ⌘K to anything.

CSV import + bulk ops

Import hundreds of charts from an existing library in one go. Bulk rename, retag, refile, export.

AI

Drafting, not oracle.

Chart-grounded ask

Every interpretation is constrained to cite the actual placements from the chart's ephemeris. The model can't hallucinate signs or degrees — it's reasoning over a FACTS block derived from compute.

Structural verification

Post-generation pass flags claims that reference placements not in the chart. Hallucination chips appear next to any suspect phrase.

Per-turn multi-turn

Ask follow-ups; the model sees prior turns in the same session. Drafting a client report is one conversation, not a bunch of disconnected queries.

Infrastructure

Not a shell around a library.

First-principles ephemeris

Built on Kriya (kriya.insightsbyomkar.com) — our own implementation of VSOP87 (Mercury–Neptune), ELP2000-82B (Moon), IAU 1980 nutation, and an n-body integrator for Pluto. No Swiss Ephemeris dependency.

Public API

The engine that powers Netra is sold separately as Kriya at kriya.insightsbyomkar.com. Same compute path Netra uses — chart positions, aspects, time-lords, fixed stars, asteroids. Build on top of it.

No vendor lock-in

CSV export at any time. Charts are yours. Data portability is a right, not a premium feature.

Roadmap

What's coming.

Netra is under active development. The feature gap to legacy desktop tools is dated and visible — not silently absent.

  • v2.4Astrocartography — planet lines on a world map (relocational / ACG)
  • v2.5Report designer — block editor with chart tokens, native PDF export
  • v2.6Arabic parts, antiscia, parans tab, custom dignity systems, custom aspect sets
  • v2.7Electional finder + horary chart layout
  • v2.8i18n — Spanish + Portuguese first
  • v2.9Solar Fire .nc4 / .ECF import + SF layout preset for the muscle-memory crowd
  • v3.0Offline mode — WASM ephemeris runs in your browser without network
  • v3.1Netra Desktop — Tauri-based macOS / Windows / Linux app, $199 perpetual

Versions ship live; check the journal for build notes after each release.

Try it

See a real chart before you decide.

The public demo shows computed natal charts of historical figures — Einstein, Jung, MLK, Marie Curie — with the full studio output: wheel, aspects, dignities, the source trail behind every placement.
